This specimen is a piece of Baltic amber, formed from fossilised tree resin dating back to the Eocene epoch, around 40 to 50 million years ago. Displayed in a museum quality deep box frame.
Collected from the Baltic region, the amber has been gently cleaned and stabilised. Its natural clarity and warm tone offer a window into ancient woodland ecosystems, preserved in resin for tens of millions of years.
Frame Material: Satin finished acrylic
Mount: 300 GSM card stock & 2 mm matboard border
Display: Self standing or wall hanging bracket
Frame Dimensions: 160x160x60mm
