This fossilised tooth belonged to a Ursus spelaeus, the cave bear, which inhabited Europe during the Late Pleistocene, roughly 30,000 to 50,000 years ago, displayed in a museum quality deep box frame.
Large and robust, the tooth reflects the powerful jaws and mixed diet of a species adapted to cold, mountainous environments. Its surface shows well-preserved enamel and root structure, with wear patterns typical of an adult animal.
Recovered from cave deposits in Eastern or Central Europe, the specimen has been carefully cleaned and stabilised, preserving a physical trace of one of the largest carnivores of the Ice Age.
