This Dinosaur Dung has been displayed in a museum quality deep box frame.The specimen dates back to the Late Jurassic period, approximately 175 million years ago.
Rich in mineral content, the coprolite retains traces of the animal’s diet, from bone fragments to plant matter, offering rare insight into prehistoric ecosystems. Its shape and composition suggest it came from a medium to large herbivorous or omnivorous dinosaur.
Discovered in a sedimentary deposit once part of an ancient floodplain, the specimen has been stabilised and cleaned, preserving a direct record of life, digestion, and environment from deep geological time.
