This fossilised bone belonged to Iguanodon, a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, around 125 million years ago. Displayed in a museum quality deep box frame.
Robust and solid, the bone reflects the sturdy build of an animal known for its distinctive thumb spikes and herbivorous diet. Mineralisation has preserved the natural texture and structure after millions of years buried in sediment.
Recovered from Early Cretaceous formations in Europe, the specimen has been cleaned and stabilised, offering a tangible connection to one of the first dinosaurs ever scientifically described.
