Lunar Meteorite

This Lunar meteorite has been displayed in a museum quality deep box frame. The Lunar Meteorite is a rock fragment ejected from the Moon’s surface by an ancient impact and delivered to Earth.

Formed over 4.5 billion years ago, its composition closely matches samples brought back by Apollo missions, consisting mainly of basaltic and feldspathic materials. Unlike Earth rocks, lunar meteorites show low water content and distinct isotopic signatures that confirm their extraterrestrial origin.

Recovered from desert strewn fields, this fragment offers a rare, tangible connection to the Moon.
