These quartz beads date to the Neolithic period, around 3000–2000 BC, and were recovered from an early settlement site in southern Britain. They have been displayed in a museum quality deep box frame.

Shaped by hand using simple abrasion techniques, the beads show a central perforation for stringing, likely worn as part of a necklace or sewn onto clothing. Its subtle translucence and smooth finish reflect both aesthetic intent and careful craftsmanship.

Cleaned and preserved, the beads represent one of the earliest forms of personal adornment in prehistoric Europe, a meaningful expression of identity and culture.
