This Neolithic scraper has been displayed in a museum quality deep box frame and dates to the Neolithic period, around 3000–2000 BC, and was recovered from southern Britain.
Carefully knapped by hand, the tool features a sharpened edge used for processing animal hides, plant material, and other daily tasks. Its size and form suggest it was shaped for comfortable use in the hand, with wear patterns consistent with repeated use.
Cleaned and conserved, the scraper offers a direct, utilitarian link to early human craftsmanship and the routines of prehistoric life.
