This Plesiosaur has been displayed in a museum quality deep box frame and is complete with a scientifically accurate, hand-drawn illustration. The Plesiosuar was a marine reptile that swam the shallow seas of the Late Triassic and Early Jurassic period, around 190 million years ago.

Slender and slightly curved, the tooth was adapted for seizing fish and soft-bodied prey, aided by rows of sharp, interlocking teeth. Its surface preserves fine longitudinal ridges, characteristic of the genus, and reflects the animal’s role as a swift, agile hunter.

Recovered from marine sediment layers in what is now England’s Lyme Regis coast, the specimen has been cleaned and stabilised, preserving a direct link to one of the earliest large predators of the Jurassic seas. Complete with a scientifically accurate, hand-drawn illustration.
