This fossil is a Trilobite, an extinct marine arthropod that lived during the Late Triassic Era, approximately 200 million years ago. Displayed in a museum quality deep box frame.
Preserved in fine sedimentary rock, the specimen shows distinct features including the segmented exoskeleton, compound eye structures, and ridged thorax. Trilobites were among the earliest animals with complex eyes and played a key role in ancient marine ecosystems.
Recovered from a fossil-rich site in North Africa, the trilobite has been carefully cleaned and stabilised, offering a clear glimpse into early life on Earth long before the rise of vertebrates.
