Wooly Mammoth Trio

This collection brings together three authentic specimens from Mammuthus primigenius, the woolly mammoth, dating to the Late Pleistocene, between 20,000 and 40,000 years ago. Displayed in a museum quality deep box frame.

Included is: a fragment of fossilised bone, showing the dense structure that supported a massive Ice Age body; a fragment of tusk, composed of ivory with natural growth rings and curvature; and a strand of preserved reddish-brown hair, insulated for life in sub-zero climates.

Recovered from permafrost and glacial deposits across Siberia and northern Europe, each piece has been cleaned and conserved, offering a direct, tangible link to one of the most iconic animals of the last Ice Age.
